☑️ New business structure
☑️ New packages

We’re so excited to share all this energy with you and your business.

And, if the secret wasn’t already out - here it is:

We’ve pivoted to focus solely on visual production for content marketing (aka photography and video production)! Now, Dom Productions specializes in professional brand photos, team headshots, business event coverage, promotional videos for your website or social, course production, and more… 📸 📹

It’s been many long days and nights labouring over a million little details - a little over 11 months to be specific. But it’s here and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.

A lot has changed since 2016!

We incorporated. We welcomed some amazing women to the team. We created signature service packages combining photography and video production.

And this new branding was specially curated to represent our growth as a business. A lot has changed since I quickly threw together a site and logo for my lil’ side-hustle in 2016. When brainstorming concepts, we realized the soft pink/purple we used in the past didn’t say much about us. And the logo didn’t stand out.

The new logo, tagline, colours, fonts and brand imagery were chosen to show our maturity, playfulness and authenticity.

We still preferred a minimalist style and kept black and white in the brand colours. But we also added two shades of brown to represent our mission to give more women-of-colour the opportunity to work in the media production field.

And I’d be lying if I said Beyoncé wasn’t a huge inspiration for the shade of red. The 2022 Renaissance visuals were one of the catalysts to this entire rebrand.

The website was also streamlined to help clients get to know us better - portfolio pages, service descriptions, clear values, and even an FAQ section to answer any questions you may have!

A special thank you to the DP squad - Pam, Annisha, Chloe and Vic - for listening to me drone on about this rebrand for what felt like a million years.

And the biggest thank you in the entire world to Abigail Regucera, our brand, web and graphic designer.

There’s no way we could have done this without her.

For almost a year, Abi stayed up late with me, answered my calls at 9:30pm, met up in random cities to keep me accountable, was so open to feedback, and worked so damn hard to get this done.

Need a new website? Brand refresh? You need to hire her 👏

So, what are your thoughts on the new site? Poke around! Stay a while! I’d love to hear your thoughts.

- Monique ♡
